Entry

ID and name on IGDB, name of the song, and then your name.

Put in the ID for the main game from IGDB. If the song is from an expansion, DLC, patch, update, port, remake, remaster, or etc. it still counts as the main game.
IGDB will say whether or not it's one of those and link back to the main game. Grab the ID from that.

• Exception 1 is if the main game isn't the English release, i.e. Phoenix Wright. Use the first English release.
• Exception 2 is if the song is only from a remaster or remake. Use the remaster/remake it's from.
• Exception 3 is that it CAN be from a mod, as long as it's listed on IGDB. Grab the ID for the mod.
• If using any of these exceptions, PLEASE let me know so I have context for errors my tool gives me.

The ID can be found on the right hand side of the game's page, underneath the area with the cover, screenshots, and review score, just under the edit button. I need just the numbers, please.

Difficulty:

Link to the song (short or long version) and timestamps from least to most recognizable.
Leave blank to ignore timestamps, they ARE optional. They'll default to a third of the way into the song. If all timestamps are the same, or left blank, they'll be set to play sequentially after the previous one ends.

Timestamps

Timestamps should be in seconds. If you're having trouble, take the video time and just multiply the minutes by 60 and add the seconds.

Rules

• No songs from the following series:
• Any first party Nintendo franchise
• Persona
• Yakuza
• One song per video
• Keep song lengths reasonable. Under 6 minutes.
• The game it's from must be actually released. Nothing from games like Terraria: Otherworld.
• The difficulty should be set, for how difficult you think the game will be to guess for everyone else. All the way to the left is easy (1), right is hard (5).
  
  People have been using the following to gauge difficulty:
• 1 is universally recognized. Something like the pizza time music from Spider-Man 2.
• 2 is not universally recognizable, but the game it's from is so wildly popular you've probably heard it through someone else.
• 3 is where you've had to have played the game to get it, even just a little bit. Title screen, opening, early tracks from the game, etc.
• 4 is where you have to really know the game to know the song. Final boss themes, secret area themes, etc.
• 5 is for everything else. Everything so obscure it can't go any lower.
• Additionally, Pooch may assign a song a 6 if it's particularly insane. Gavin what the fuck are these.

It can also be a combination of how old and obscure the game is. If you don't often see it mentioned around sites not dedicated to the game, it likely needs to be rated higher difficulty than you think.

• No songs where the origin is ambiguous or multiple choice, like Pokemon.
  UNLESS it's a song unique to only one version.
• No licensed or real songs, unless they're OVERWHELMINGLY well known as being from a single game.
  I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire as an example, everyone knows that from Fallout 3.
• Nothing that's known to immediately make Pooch bawl. If you hit me with I'm Not Gone you're banned.
• Please remove all parameters from the youtube links. Parameters are anything that looks like ?this= or &this=

EXCEPT if the parameter is "?watch=". I need that one.
